I can check off all of those things for myself... how about pets? I had 3. But honestly, just the character's inventory being expanded beyond a certain point and being xx% full makes sense (or the least amount of no-sense?), so it's something like when the client queries the server where character information is stored, it can't parse all those items (with link skills somehow factoring into this as well).
Sadly, I don't think anything of mine was expiring soon... except for mushy on he 24th.
