You may think you know how to use your champions, but there aremany things you don't know that are part of winning the game that you probably won't know or have mastered by 30, like knowing when to push, how to gank, when to harass etc. I know people want to dive straight into ranked, but I see no point in doing so unless you're as good as you can get from normals. When I was around 1k wins there was nothing for me to really practice in normals and now I only get placed with plats/diamonds who want to troll around just like me.
Like I think I've said before, ranked isn't some fun new game mode, it's where all the try hards go to try hard and win. If you haven't brushed up on all your skills, then there is no point in diving into a mode that is literally the same as normals except for the fact it shows a shiny medal that will probably be an ugly bronze for most newly level 30's.
The mode is here all season, no need to dive in right away, you can wait till the second half of the season so you don't end up like those people who messed up their mmr and couldn't crawl out of bronze 5 for the free skin of gold tier.
If you think you have all the mechanics down, then go ahead and jump in, but just know that it'll be more annoying to climb up when you start out at bronze 5 and crap mmr.[/COLOR]
