Know all roles while specializing in two or three, get decent at a few champions (like 2 or 3) per role, get generic rune pages for AP/AD/support/jungle, and watch streams/guides/VODs (esp. the ones who explain their thought processes such as scarra or nightblue3 or unswlolsoc).
Level 30 is where the real learning begins imo.
Edit: Questions!
Are HP quints the standard generic Support quints now? Looking to (finally) replace my GP5's.
Movement speed quints vs. Flat AP quints? I noticed Faker runs flat AP's while TiensiNoAkuma and scarra run all MS. What do.
Are 9 points in defense even worth it for Mid? I feel like it's not. I'm very tempted to go 21/0/9 and snag MS / Regen / CDR or something.
I hear different opinions of "The defense tree isn't worth it unless you go deep" or "The 9 points are worth it."
Well, that's kinda why I took the past week playing almost every single champion at least once, and so far, I have a decent amount of champions I can use for each lane, and I've been kinda mentored by some friends of mine, as they could use another pair of hands at Bot/Top. Either way, I should be a bit more careful of what I say or even do. I mean, I'm alright with going into ranked, but the amount of people already in it...yea, nevermind. Kinda why I'm giving myself time to hit 30.
