Message to the MapleStory community from Nexon CEO

So the game team has agreed to compensation for all innocent players (i.e. those who didn't hack or buy huge sums of duped items) which will include event rewards that may have been missed due to full inventories.

In terms of numbers they are aiming to give you in excess of what you could earn by playing during the days you were trade blocked as well as some other useful items. This is by way of an apology for the inconvenience caused and to thank you for your patience.

We are trying to get this compensation in for the next maintenance but will confirm once we have tested.

Also the investigations are complete and hell-ban / trade blocks will be lifted in this week's maintenance. As mentioned earlier in this thread the reason it has to be done here is to remove large numbers of duped scrolls and other hacked items from player inventories.

Please note direct exploiters (who should be ID blocked atm) won't be released with the players in possession of duped items.
