I did the Crimsonheart line all the way up to the point of needing to do the PQ. Do we HAVE to do that friggin' PQ to move on to Tynerum? I don't know why, but I can now go through the center door in Path to the Altar. I thought this door wouldn't open unless I did the PQ, but I seem to be able to. I have a guildie who has only two quests left - 1) Kill the dudes in the Party Play area and 2) Castle PQ. He still cannot go through the door. I am just trying to sort out the sequence of what I actually must do to get through to the next area and any explanations would be appreciated.
There should be some kind of lightbulb quest at that point where you report back to Grendel, as I remember. You don't have to kill the party play monsters or do the PQ to move on.
