so the difference between fafnir and empress will just be 1-2 attack on the saltwater, not worth burning a fafnir for it.
Ok, IIRC, the Sweetwater gear is Superior, correct? It kind of leaves you with a quandary. If you do your enhancement before you transform, you get lower stats. But, if you enhance afterward, you'd get better stats but you need to have Superiors SHield scrolls to protect it, which would be more costly.
