I actually wasn't all that thrilled with the patch notes, lots of pointless small nerfs, a HUGE buff to monks who were already #1 dps, and a HUGE nerf to Summoner. After 2.1, if your party doesn't have at least 2 monks, the healer and tank will probably bail for coil groups in pugs at least. I don't know what the pineapple the were thinking giving monks that much, a good monk can already match 2 decent dps of any other class. Even I can't match the monk in my FCs team 1, and I am a pretty incredible BLM. Patt from this forum is in our team 1, I'm sure he can attest to how strong they already are.
Really, all I really liked in this patch were UI changes, the EX modes, and some commands added, it feels more like a QoL patch than an endgame content patch, everything but the three EX modes are well under coil, and coil is easy as hell with a halfway decent party aside from 5.
