Doesn't the exp effect not apply if you ohko with it?

One more question. Can anyone that has played Zero to a significant level (at least to 178) give me an idea of how long it takes to level up to 178? Im looking to knock this sucker out as quick as possible, and was wondering just how much of the leveling experience is quests. I'd also like to know how effective 2x exp cards, buffs, etc are in regards to the dungeons, if the majority of the exp comes from the monsters or from completing the dungeon itself.

I don't know about a time frame, but joetang i believe mentioned that it was something like 7m for dungeon completion at high 17x, with 3mish from the monsters inside, for 10m total. Quests in general make up the entire thing, with some or most quests giving full level ups.
