VMWare + MapleStory HackShield error

iirc they took down support for running maple on VM's.

You can get around that error (says MapleStory cannot be run under a VM, or something to that effect) by adding a few lines in the .vmx file of the Virtual Machine, and adjusting something in the registry of the VM, a friend was going through it with me and it seems to work fine for him but I can't get past HackShield. =/

With VMWare Workstation

1. Install Windows
2. Install Maple
3. Edit Registry in the Virtual Machine: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000
Change the DriverDesc to anything
4.On your main computer open up your virtual machine configuration file with notepad (it ends in .vmx) and add this to the bottom (remove the space after isolation)
