Unscheduled Server Maintenance – Item duplication hack

Now when people say "hotfix" doesn't that mean it's a temporary solution till they can figure out something permanent, or am I just thinking too hard on that word?

That's what Hotfixes mean for WoW at least.

Don't know about other games and how they implement / define "hotfixes".
