Well enhancement scrolls, despite its obvious reason for not take a slot don't specify anything. I just recall there being an "enchantment scroll"(actually don't even remember what they were called now) for shoes to either prevent slipping on ice or prevent frostbite (I think that was the effect.. again I can't remember for sure) and they didnt take a slot IIRC.
