Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!)

So I ended up getting it last night, and I must thank [MENTION=10593]Declaimed[/MENTION]; and [MENTION=2613]FlameChocobo[/MENTION];, because it's really a great game. The new abilities are quite enjoyable, and for the most part the level design is superb. I've only been annoyed at one level so far and I'm up to World 3 already. Hoping for a harder difficulty once you beat it or something, though, because so far it's been pretty easy and the levels are a tad too short to not have some replayability right now. Really that's my only problem, I feel like it won't last me another 10 hours and for the $60 I paid that's pretty unacceptable. Could have spent less on X-Rebirth and be playing for months. Will have to see, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

 Annoying Level

The only level so far that's annoyed me is the Cat-Suit required level in World 3, that branches off of 3-3 (Left of the Ghost House). The stupid grates combined with small, disappearing platforms, combined with moving death camera was a tad frustrating. I've always been a person who takes their time on platformers, but when I get moving I go fast, yet the camera wasn't fast enough for the speed you were required to go once you really started jumping through the hoops (almost literally). I found myself dying because the camera just didn't move fast enough for me to see where I was going while I was on platforms that were disappearing on me. It's the only level so far that the game has tried to give me the Golden Tanooki, which ironically wouldn't have helped me one bit for this level because the monsters weren't the problem. Not only that, the Cat-Suit is practically required for this level so the Golden Tanooki is even more of an ironic gift from the game.
