Long story short, Wrinklers actually make you more cookies in the long run that if you swat them away ASAP. I find this a nice way to AFK get more cookies. Pretty much leave your computer running overnight, and explode the Wrinklers for an insane amount of Cookies. For now I no longer have the patience or time to click on Golden Cookies, so Wrinklers seem to fit my playstyle a lot more.
i figured this out myself yeah, what i do is that i leave the wrinklers around, and when i am watching anime or something i activate the elder pledge and minimize it on a corner, so that all the golden cookies appear on the same place.
