On several drop multipliers, I've gotten 6 coins from Stage 10, 6 coins from Stage 20, and 12 coins from Ranmaru, every single run.
This leads me to believe that the maximum you can earn from one run is 76 coins (9*1+6+10*1+9*1+6+10*2+12+4); 40 runs for all three totems.
Best to save your keys for a 2x event if you don't have many drop rate sources, although I've heard just wolf + greed pendant (120%) allows you to obtain the maximum amount of coins.
