ev training takes a day, so don't worry about it, i'm ev training and leveling my whole team today heh. the lack of power items is pretty annoying though, but using shining gleam/EQ/swift on hordes brought by swet scent makes it go fast enough.

If you have the money to spare, EV training can go by ridiculously fast if you buy the EV items (carbos, iron, etc...), then EV train with Pokes that have Pokerus with hordes. Only takes like 10 minutes a Poke then.
