Howeverr, if you have a 5IV with the correct nature, breeding a 6IV with this method with the wrong nature won't matter as much as you can always put the everstone on the other. Or you can get lucky with the nature.
Howeverrr, the chance of getting a 6IV with the correct nature is still a better chance than getting a shiny, so it's still worth trying with just the knot and stone.
Howeverrrr, another thing to keep in mind is if you're a special attacker, getting perfect attack would mean harder confusion damage to yourself, right?
destiny knot will always grab 5 different IV's, going down the list, so it won't grab attk from both the parent and mother.
using a power item with the destiny knot however, will have that specific IV be passed down regardless of what the destiny knot chooses, so if the destiny knot picks mom's HP/atk/def/spatk/spdef and the dad had a power lens, the destiny knot would pass only 4 stats there and the dad would pass his spatk.
i need to test if you can use the above along with the destiny knot reset to get 6-IV pokes faster.
