The Legend of Korra - Book 2: Spirits

I can't really understand why everyone was so surprised to see the Professor's skeleton in the library like that. In one of the first episodes of the series, Aang finds the skeleton of his mentor, Monk Gyatso, alongside many other skeletons of Airbenders. I was more surprised there was even a reference to the Professor, rather than the whole skeleton thing.

To be honest, in the split second between when they showed his skeleton and Won Shi Tong mentions him, I expected him to be still alive. Simply because they were in the Spirit World, and Iroh was alive. I could very easily see that guy giving up his body much like Iroh did so that he could read forever.

The shock was more in the fact that he was literally dead, because he didn't need to be.

Oh dear, I didn't realize that. still, the next 2 weeks are going to be epic as hell.

To be honest, I'm kind of happy this season is almost over already. Let's face it, they wasted a lot of time. The episodes between the first portal being opened and Wan's story were pretty pointless. Let's not forget the fact that they basically abandoned the Civil War storyline like 4 episodes ago. Once Korra got "eaten" by the water spirit it was as if no one cared anymore that there was a Water Tribe Civil War going on at all. Mako cared more about Varrac's company plots then the Civil War, Bolin became completely useless, and Asami became pretty much useless as well.

Overall the only plot that's good and engaging this season is the Spirit World stuff. Everything else has sucked. Not sure what happened because Season 1 was fantastic, but they really fu'cked up this one.
