If the game was harder right now I wouldn't have a character in level 190 I would be under level 70. but yeah i guess because a simple calculation of the amount of exp it takes to level up judges the entire time and effort that it takes(sarcasm).
Yeah, it was so hard to clear map with an ultimate you could spam. All you did was party with a bishop and kill whatever it didn't. I have been playing since the start, I even started as a strength chief bandit, you have no idea of "difficulty".

Before you go on a tangent about "OH, LOOK GLOBAL REVENUE UP 20% LOLOL SEE I WAS RIGHT", the numbers you should be looking at are regional, and Nexon america, who has a steady decline of 15-25% for the last year (all 4 quarters). That kind of means, that they aren't actually making much of a profit now does it? Yes the regional profits matter, DFO being a prime example as it was closed down in North America, but makes more revenue than maplestory in Korea.

To further challenge your "lol im 190 instead of 70", we're talking about beyond 200. you do realize that getting from 185-200 is like getting to 1-185 all over again? That doesn't suddenly make 1-185 easier, it's proportional. They made it easier for you to get to 200 because that's when you have access to all your skills. See back when I played, and coolies were your best option, level 130 was this years level what, 225? And if you go back farther, with red drakes, it was more between 81-85 that people capped at.
Pre big bang was a joke after 4th job was introduced, Ultima's made ridiculous exp gainage. So I don't know what game you're playing, but reaching the level cap is harder than it ever was. And it'll slowly creep up to become another joke, when another child comes on here talking about how easy it is then compared to now.
