Check on this: Pre Big Bang the highest mob was like 4k EXP and exp it takes to level was Doubled.
Nowadays people just like crying that pomegranate's slow so they play less and as a cause, level less.
Whenever training I notice it's so fast it's just that the sense of the past is gone pretty quick because all we can experience right now is the peresent.
So no, it wasn't faster, you haven't dont it. You can't even jump to that conclusion without taking all this stuff into consideration and also the fact that you probably only 200 because of party play areas.
MS1 isn't dying off just because some people don't like it. 5th job is just something you and I wanna see and sure there is hope because we are still here.
Go check the homepage and see how revenue has gone up hella more for nexon.
Derp. Have you even considered doing the math?
With the original exp table, the exp needed at 199-200 was 2,121,276,324 and now it's 650,378,595,225 for 249-250. Considering that himes(3,200 exp) were the best mobs during the pre-4th job and dark ancient golems(127,733 exp) are currently the best now:3,200/2,121,276,324 = 0.00000150852*100 = 0.000150852% / 1 kill
127,733/650,378,595,225 = 1.96397915^-7*100 = 0.00001963979% / 1 kill
That's around 8 times slower than it was with the original exp chart and even slower with the Pre-BB exp change in 2009. It's not hard, training in Maple was never hard, it's just more time consuming and repetitive than it ever was before. True, I did get to Lvl 200 because of party play areas, but I didn't go on and boast about my achievement because I got that level a lot faster than I did as a Level 8x solo Priest Pre-BB and way faster than anyone who was already level 200 before then. I know someone who was a level 200 Bishop before Big Bang and she was gaining like 1%/hr at 19x. But 200 isn't the case anymore, it's 250! Kewra stated that he was making around 0.5% an hour at 220 and he's nowhere near the level cap. Now, the top 20 could continue the race if they wanted to and make their spot on the new rankings, but 200 was the end of the road for their time and most of them are beyond their 20s and are heavily occupied now. Hell, even now with all this content, I still cannot stand being logged in for too long.
As for the revenue, this game is way more costly to win than before thanks to cubes. Them making more revenue doesn't mean they're not losing players
