Albatross transformation and all the skills used during it are inefficient compared to standard attacks. I would go so far to say that in second job Windbreakers are far, far inferior to both Crossbowmen and hunters. Storm breath is not a good mob skill and DS is very mediocre as a single target. I'm going to end up doing a Rain-first build in 3rd, also, which is really typical of a ranger as well. Strafe's a completely worthless skill, so much so that it can be skipped without harm. Delaying the availability of half the skillbook until 100 means you only get, at best, 20 levels of usefulness out of those skills. It's just... ugh. You don't get to do any end game stuff, too weak for HT, can't reach PB (too weak anyway), could Zak but what's the point? Right when you get strong enough to do stuff you hit the end.
Strikers are limited pretty heavily because you can almost count the number of lightning-weak mobs on your hands. That makes their lightning skills a great deal less useful. Flame Mages are obnoxiously overpowered... So much so that a nerf is practically inevitable. soul warrior is pretty good, except they're more ranged than melee... Windbreaker and Soul warrior make a pretty good CPQ team, lol. Nightwalkers... haven't even seen any really.
They have a hall of fame, it's pretty obvious they have no intention of removing the 120 cap.
and about the equip thing, basically what I'm saying is, if a Cygnus archer can use *ANY* archer equipment, they can use *all* archer equipment.
(Also, sound effect for getting onto the mount for Cygnus is the snail shell throwing sound. >_>)
going by this thought, it sounds like they should have made the cap more around 140 or 150. by doing that they could even think of stretching the job advance lengths, tho it does sound kind of nice that, if they are pretty strong at 120, they could just be used mainly for Zakum and Pap runs, just mainly for using it.
On another thought, the lower lvl cap may make it an alternative to those looking to get to the max lvl, even without a lvl cap at 120, 80 lvls in that high of a lvl range is a long process.
