I'm still IV breeding (that is, I caught a lot of dittos and just started for the 1st pokemon. Yes, I'm slow at this.) so I might as well ask before it's too late. >.>
There is no item limitations. You can have a full team of life orbs for all I care. As for the battle setting, it'll be up to the gym leaders.
