"Black Friday Big Spender Event"

Hardly exploitative.
It's the same as any company's loyalty program, from airline miles to collecting stamps on an ice-cream parlor's membership card.
Just should be clear that it's not "free" and it's not a "bonus for the casual NX buyer". It's a bonus for the big spenders, and is honestly named that.

I have a decent amount of points and I'm fairly certain that within the past two months, I've spent around $30 in nx.

That's casual nx spending to me.

I really don't understand why people are bitching about it so much, I think it's nice. Surely not an incentive for me to buy more nx (call it self control and budgeting, maybe?)

So what if I can't get all of the items? One or two for free is fine by me.
