I've actually ran into a pretty high number of shinies, but unfortunately, I was only able to catch like 3 of them, cause the rest, well, you can probably guess:
- Shiny Rattata in Pokemon Gold; I ended up KOing it, because it was at the beginning of the game, and I was like 10-12 at the time and had no idea what the hell shinies were or that they were special. I remember reading about it later on and throwing a mini-fit.
- Shiny Zubat in Pokemon Gold; I was redeemed later on by finding a shiny Zubat only a few hours later. I caught it and for the rest of that game I used it on my team, eventually giving me a shiny Crobat. I loved that thing.
- Shiny Abra in Pokemon FireRed; take a guess at what happened. If you can't guess: after my Great Ball failed to catch it, it teleported away.
- Shiny Graveler in HeartGold; unfortunately it was in a later portion of the game, thus it was higher leveled and self-destructed.
- Shiny Zigzagoon in Ruby; caught it, but I quickly forgot about it because it was a bloody Zigzagoon.
- Shiny Sandile in Pokemon Black 2; what was even more amazing was that it was also an Adamant Nature. I eventually traded it to one of my friends because he wanted it. Desperately.
