Terraria discussion thread

So just a small story related to the SP server.

I really wanted to get a Megashark, so I ended up borrowing some Souls of Night, 12 from Omega, and 6 from Polantris. Needless to say, I died terribly the first 2 times. Didn't have at least a Phase Saber to DPS the Destroyer quick enough before I took too much damage, 2nd time I had the Phase Saber but still took too much damage with just Cobalt Armor. 3rd time, I ended up doing some more borrowing. Borrowed a Cobalt Drill and Frost Breastplate from Omega, did some digging all over the place. Long story short, took down the Destroyer at last, upgraded to a Megashark, and returned the Souls and borrowed equipment.

So net-loss wise, nothing was really taken, but some of the stuff may have been moved around because I didn't entirely remember which chest I took stuff out. But just as a checklist of stuff that may have moved around from the original chest location:

Polantris: 6 Souls of Night
Omega: 12 Souls of Night, Frost Breastplate, Hurtful Cobalt Drill. I also returned your Cobalt set, since I managed to obtain a Hallowed Helm, my own Cobalt boots, and my own Frostplate. Thanks a ton for the loan, for I managed to obtain my own gear in the end.

I'll see if I can't farm some stuff to help you guys out. Probably getting Hallowed Bars/Souls of Might now that I can pretty much put the Destroyer on farm status.




Oh, I also did some tunnel digging of my own, and also placed a load of torches. Seriously, some of you guys don't seem to put enough torches in your tunnels; I really like having vision everywhere I go. If you see a dirt cage with a campfire and some tiki torches floating in the air in Corruption territory, that's made by me. Other people can use it too if you want to farm the Destroyer.

Well, the thing is, some of us have other light resources. Also the basement is vacant, so you're free to use it as a big room.
...Also I'd suggest looking into summons that give off light. Then again, all I use is my Frostbrand for light, which confirms how much of a nub I am.
