Are you breeding with dittos? When using dittos, you should trade similar IV/nature(whichever you want) which a friend, that way they'll have different ID(obviously) and in turn, breed at a higher rate. I think it's 50% when using different species and IDs, as opposed to a REALLY low 20% rate when they're different species but have the same ID.
