With EVs invested into Sp def, sandstream, and the vest, T-tar can survive 2-3 focus blasts. It becomes specially tanky as much as Blissey if not better. The best part would be that the opponent might not expect it, and ends up KOing it with crunch, pursuit, or EQ since it lost its levitate.
T-tar can apparently also survive 5-6 Hydro pumps from Rotom-W, which makes it a little ridiculous.

I'm really considering building that with a sandstorm team.

That's bloody insane. I did briefly read something about Ttar being a bigger threat, defensively, but I did not know it was to the point of the likes of that.
