People just wait out phys. ignore, or crash it, or ignore it.
A boss where you fail if physical damage and magic damage aren't dealt in equal ratio would be neat... Like, you both have to attack for 10min, and at the end, the closer to 50-50 it is, the better the drops, with an HP-bar at the top that leans left or right depending who's ahead at the moment.
Would be nice to require more than just "1 physical, 1 magical character" but I dunno what unique characteristics anyone has any more.
wlel, that depends on how big it is. We already know Nexon can make bosses that 100 Maplers can fight, so if they made a boss where you needed one of every class to damage/affect it in some way, there would at least be some use for any class come that boss. And, to boot, it wouldn't change mode again until after it took some kind of damage, so that people that tried to be slick and solo it wouldn't be able to.
But like said, that would all just depend on how many maplers that would be available for the fight. (5 minimum would be good. You would need one of each main branch and it won't change or shuffle without being hit.)
Basically, it would make for a more social boss experience, because now, everyone would have to have a part in it. You can't just leech off of someone with good damage while it's solo'd.
