No, it's not what I want, and I never said that I wanted something like that. I didn't want to see Laxus lose, and I never said his loss would be a good thing. If Laxus got worfed then, it wouldn't really establish the overwhelming power of the Kyuukimon... because Mashima. That doesn't mean I would be unhappy no matter what, because these two outcomes were not all the possible outcomes.
By the way, Laxus getting bedridden is after the fact. Judging from the dialogue, Tempesta only 'sploded because Laxus beat him.
