Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion

So uhhh, has the mechanic for Power Items and breeding changed? I've been breeding Fletchling with max Att/Sp.Def IVs @ Power Bracer together with a Ditto with max Sp.Def/Speed IVs @ Power Anklet, and have not been able to get both Speed and Att to pass on to the babies. Only Att and Sp.Def.
