If NexonAM did it right, this could actually help them.. In all honesty, most players who would play it would be older players who have since stopped playing MS altogether or only log MS now to talk and AFK. If they made a server like this, and these players began playing again, things like Gacha and AP resets would be relevant like they were years ago before mass HP boosts and bosses became giant platypi. I remember people paying thousands on AP resets to HP wash. I'm sure HP washing wasn't intended, but they obviously didn't mind raking in all that money from players who did it. You also didn't need to HP wash in order to do things, it was just a luxury. With good skill, you could easily do things such as anego or BF, among other things, without the necessary HP to tank a hit.


Though it could be much easier to just make a server with no potential, but they'd have to put that extra time in to nerf a lot of monsters to keep with the massive loss of damage by players. We all know that extra work for Nexon means it just wouldn't happen.


Either way, this will never happen because MS isn't Runescape and Nexon isn't Jagex



Also, the game wasn't THAT much better back then. I would still prefer playing then over now a hundred times over, but it's more of a nostalgia thirst than thinking it was a better game back then.
