If you managed to used bleed dart on a NL before the weapon cancel pops out, you still deal the whole DPS from the poison, and every hit reactivates it without making it deal 1 damage, so you can keep it while the 30 seconds last, or the cancel runs out.

I know, I know, totally out of the point, but the more you know!

Yeah I remember playing my DB and having the poison go through weapon def as long as
1. You had it before the weapon cancel
2. You kept attacking and reapplying it during weapon cancel

I wish I transferred my DB to El Nido now
