That last phrase in the arc was a bad touch. I'm willing to say the chapter would have felt much better if it didn't have to reminds us Nakama power is so overused in this series.

Anyway, this had all the feelings of the final blow on the strongest enemy before ending an arc (take Urahara's seal on Aizen for example) until I read this

Or, option B, madara now jumps in and makes himself the ten tails jin instead and this all starts again.

Now I am totally sure, Madara will take control and he will drag everyone into the unlimited Tsukuyomi. From which Naruto will free everyone by the power of his will and bonds of friendship.
