Yeah, I thought you could still use the old method of linking finishers to Triple Swing if you wanted? I jumped on my Aran as soon as the game came up and... you're right, way too different. I like hitting high numbers, but meh. Mobility kills it for me.
Also, does Overswing really beat out FB even with maxed out hypers for FB? I'm looking at the numbers and the new speeds, and I think FB takes the cake, but I haven't done any actual math.
