it has its hidden ability of Protean (Changes it's type to whatever type of move you are using). It transforms before you use the move, so every single move it uses gets STAB.
Just going off the TM's that I have, that means it can transform into the Normal, Fighting, Flying, Psychic, Rock, Grass, Bug or Poison types. and of course Water and Dark too.
Don't forget Ice (Ice Beam) and Ghost (Shadow Sneak is a move rememberer option via Heart Scale). Also, you know, Hidden Power shenanigans ahoy...
