[SPOILERS] X and Y pre-release Leaks and Rumours thread

Somehow, I get the impression that some of the new Pokemon were designed to have Mega evos down the road, perhaps in the third version/sequel games.

I mean obviously the mascot Legends for this gen would get one eventually, but it'd also explain the baffling design decisions to have the Florette line be pure Fairy (as far as I've heard) when it obviously should be part Grass, and the Goomy line being pure Dragon when everyone thought it was going to be part Poison (or maybe even Fairy) in the end.

And then there's the hilarious yet unrealistic possibility of Mega Kefki. How the hell would that happen.
