I'm with Alloy...
I like Maplestory, but I don't ever try to rush to the top level or try to beat high level bosses. I'm hardly interested in high leveled armor...
The only time I jump on Maplestory is if there is a big event going on that catches my eye, or if one of my friends are on and want to hang out.
I grind a little, but only for maybe an hour or two... three at best.
Simply put, Maplestory isn't a game I run to every day to play. I like the game, yes, but there are some very big flaws in the actual game set up. Being unable to enjoy end game content without being funded is one of these many flaws.
At this point, I consider items a bigger reward than a level up, but even then, certain rare items end up costing NX too...
