[SPOILERS] X and Y pre-release Leaks and Rumours thread

Sadly, apart from Togekiss and maybe Gardevoir (Not counting Xerneas of course) not many of the retcon or new fairy Pokemon will even stand a chance against a good amount of the dragon Pokemon.


Of course given this is the first gen they're showing up in it is easy to understand why it is that way. It will take a bit of time to build some good fairies and fairy moves (I might eat that last bit since hardly any fairy moves have been leaked).

Perhaps it doesn't make them good against dragons, but it does address some of their weaknesses. for example Mr. Mime now has a counter against dark types, and pokemon like Jigglypuff and Granbull now have a counter to Fighting types.
