Seems that Jormungandr was predicted to poison the sky at Ragnarok or something, but was killed by Thor before it could? Something like that. But yeah, not important.
Water/Poison...let's see: Tentacool, Tentacruel, Qwilfish. Not a very common typing, I'm liking this already!
As for resistances and weaknesses, it has 8 resistances (Fire, Water, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Bug, Steel & Fairy) and 3 weaknesses (Electric, Ground & Psychic). Not bad.
As for a pokemon based on Fenrir, seems we have confirmation in-game that it's an ice wolf, so that's that. The problem however, is whether it'll be pure Ice or a dual type. Depending on its design, I say it's possible for it to be Ice/Steel (horrible typing though) if it has a sword stuck in its jaw. Otherwise, it's possible for it to be Ice/Water (because Fenrir's flowing saliva formed a river).
They could always just make it Ice/Dark because it's a wolf without a specific mythology reason.
