I believe he was found in the same cave as Zygarde was. but I can't remember correctly.

Anyway, it seems like there are various "mysterious" areas in the game that don't currently have a use.

>hint 2: Zygarde's asymmetric stat distribution, favoring physical defense
>hint 3: suspicious ice mirror in an empty room in an island in the middle of nowhere
>hint 4, the big one: Burigaron (ブリガロン — Maybe a blizzard wolf: buri (ブリ from blizzard (burizaado) + garo (ガロ / 牙狼 meaning fanged wolf. It could also come from garou (餓狼 meaning starving wolf. This was leaked months ago along with many others that ended up being real, including Zygarde."
