This pretty much confirms that Megaman can activate Rush while in midair like Sonic can, and without going into fall special afterwards. Rush will likely fall to his death if you do this offstage, meaning you can't use this recovery again. Given the radius of the shockwave is twice as large and faded compared to Sonic's at the same height, it's a pomegranate recovery that has a large startup time that goes nowhere near as high or as fast.

I agree with everything. Older videos of megaman and current knowledge of sonic support these statements.
