The fatal flaw with the current business model.
LittleTLK Wrote:While I agree with your point that the game is increasingly not skill-based, it's absurd to argue that you're being scammed by the game somehow. You don't have to play. You don't have to buy any NX.
It seems to me that you're reaching for straws to grasp because you're in a bad situation that resulted form a bad turn of luck. You're trying to shift blame and responsibility for those actions to another party. This is immature.

...There's a quote function to specify who you're speaking with. If you're referring to coogi's post, then you're wrong, you can't even fall back on "it's my opinion", you're just flat out wrong. Nexon doesn't force you to play, Nexon doesn't force you to spend NX, but when a player decides to, I feel as though there is some obligation they hold to you, as a customer. I will digress that Nexon's actions are definitely leaning to the opposite effect, but it becomes a hobby which you enjoy.

When you're cheated out of all your work, essentially everything, not out of something as asinine as "bad luck", then you feel scammed for even participating. There were exploits that were out of our control. Hell Eos; challenged someones claim to break into his account, and he did it what, a day later? That's a Nexon issue, that isn't a frekin "I'm irresponsible derp derp". They should hold proper accountability for something clearly in their error.

I got hacked from something out of my own control, it wasn't even that damaging to be honest, I still had massive amount's of meso/nx/equipment to easily recover, but it was the principle. Their response was to give me worthless items, they considered "top tier", that were untradeable, unpotentialed, unscrolled, and gave me dark scrolls to attempt to scroll them, even after recently hosting an event with GM scrolls. That was their "compensation" for billions of mesos' lost. Not even timeless gear, reverse for christ sake, and to be quite frank, if I wasn't funded I wouldn't even be able to wear them. A year and a half later players who got hacked by an exploit in Nexon's error, level 45-70 characters got up to half a mil of NX points as compensation.
