They have done some pretty stupid things in the past, like verbatim copying a version of kMS, and with it, exploits that had already been solved in later versions in Korea. Not to mention some evidence of lack of research in general, including lore inconsistencies.
So yeah, I'd say that on any given day there's a fairly good chance they have no idea what they are doing.
Also bear in mind that there's a difference between revenue and profits. Furthermore notice that the trend has been a continual decrease in revenue.
Just saw your post, fair enough i was responding what that kanye west person was saying. I notice one thing about all of this as well, and have been hearing it for years, the main company in Korea or where ever it's located decides everything. Is GMS just following orders and looking for an easy way out when it comes to patches and updates etc by just copying? That gives me the idea that headquarters don't seem to care much about what US does lol. Once they get it done eventually lawl.
