Well I'm not gonna do this discussion all over again, but Private Servers has NOTHING to do with Copyright (They didn't copy the server software, they made that software themselves), Piracy (They're not selling any stolen items), and let alone Trojans, Malware or Virusses...
They only thing Nexon/Asiasoft can "claim" to have a "copyright" on is -PROVIDING- a service (the server itself) that allows you to play maplestory...
However, Nexon, Asiasoft, or w/e company did NOT invent the idea of a "Server <-> Client Communication Structure". Nexon/Asiasoft also stole/ripped/pirated that idea from someone else, that is, the creators/inventors of the TCP/IP protocol... So imo Nexon/Asiasoft have totally no founded reason to claim private servers have anything to do with IP copyright/piracy/etc. They're claiming something that is not their own invention.
The question that the police should ask themselves is, if the mass-gachapon gambling that happens in-game is legal or not, especially because this game is targeted to children...
Anyway, Nexon's/Asiasoft's approach to Private servers comes very close to the gambling maffia in Asia that goes over dead bodies to secure their own profits, no matter the costs... Sueing / Attacking / Threatning everyone to secure your own gambling profits...

i think you get the idea wrong..hosting private server does stealing intelligence property..what private server do is extract the wz file and copy/editing/changing the code and then host it in their own server..using the image alone already violated the copyright law...don;t mention about using the source code and publish it to the public...
i totally agree with asiasoft/nexon targeting private server, but not their action targeting fan based website...
