I am pretty sure Capcom top brass doesn't have to do in the design of a game other than setting limits for it, as in the amount of money they are fudingin it with and the times they want to see results at. They have their own directors and hired studios, all they really care is the results. Inafune had been one I am sure they didn't tell him "hey, make a megaman game thats basically a remake of megaman 2 but in a Miiverse graphic style".

Relating was the wrong word to use. I meant wanting to be like megaman, fighting big bad robots, stealing their powers, saving the day. I'm sure many kids did that. You're right about the X series though (I think the only human ever present in it was the one that put Zero back together). But aside from everything else he still looked a lot human (which was the point for being a reploid).
