I don't understand what the big deal is about Jade's death though?
I mean, Aranea specifically said she knew this was creating a doomed timeline. And when she said:
Quote:ARANEA: I 8elieve I will 8e a8le to heal this offshoot.
ARANEA: And with enough time and patience, I am confident I can restore its vitality to such a gr8 extent, it will effectively take over as the alpha timeline, thus reducing English to a lost footnote of paradox space.
ARANEA: Then the new alpha timeline will flourish under my immortal care. I will watch over it for eternity, assuring peace and harmony everywhere. There will 8e a new progeny of universes, and those universes will 8eget more universes, and each will 8enefit from my good grace. I will personally make sure nothing like the English mishap ever occurs again.
I'm pretty sure any time anyone has ever said "I will rule over X for eternity" their plan goes awry after like 5 minutes.
Even if Jane for some reason isn't able to heal Jade, we pretty much know that the doomed timeline is going to help the protagonists in the overall grand scheme of things but won't actually matter in terms of Jade actually being dead.
But really though, *she was evil*. Yeah, I know she wasn't evil of her own accord, but as it stood she was evil and needed to be dealt with.
The fandom for some reason is infatuated with Lord English and yet they'd rather the one character that specifically has had no redeeming qualities as of late (the Condesce) to continue going about her merry way with her two godly henchwomen?
I just don't get it.
