I imagine that the opening ceremony will see some J-pop girl band and maybe some Hatsune Miku.
I'm thinking there may be like a special olympics anime short. Japan might not like Otaku's and stuff, but lets face it, technology, anime and J-pop are what Japan is known for in other countries.
The same way England had the Queen and James Bond. were tea and crumpets involved? I didn't watch it. (patriotic, I know)
