While I feel sorry for her, I do believe that Vigilante Justice in this case is just a fancy word for revenge.
I mean, if she knew these people were sex offenders, she could have told the police what she knew, or she could have exposed them to the people they know, which you know, makes them suffer rather than just outright killing them and becoming a murderer.
She clearly has a screw loose if she's so far gone she sees murder as the only solution.
