Bah. Stressful day on League today. lol
Keith, Wally and I played Twisted Treeline as Kayle, Tryndamere and Udyr, respectably. Wally couldn't even manage to play, for some reason, as his client would crash every time he'd try loading it up. So, it ended up being a 2v3. I was stomping face, but it didn't matter. They out-manned Keith and I. We lost. I ended 9/7/4. It was a fun match, though, and the guys on the opposing team were pretty nice about it.
Our second game of the night was awful. Pure awful. We went up against a team with 3 silver players, a gold player and an unranked, while our team was 4 unranked and 1 silver. wtp is that pomegranate? Can the match-making system suck any more? Jesus. Anywho, Udyr (Tigerdyr) and Blitzcrank on their team were both jungling, while I was jungling as Volibear. Blitzcrank snags and smites my blue as I'm trying to get it at the beginning of the game and I was 100% certain that their Udyr was at my red, so I then head toward their red. Nope. They both jet straight toward me. They took turns camping my jungle so hard, I fell behind like crazy. Their Fiora dominated top and got fed, bottom was wrecked, due to double jungler ganks, and mid had some issues, but held off decently. I couldn't gank at all, or even help my team mates under our own turrets. Since I was so underfed, all they'd do was dive me like crazy and get away. The Fiora had enough life steal that she could turret dive all 5 of us and get away with 100% HP. How dumb... I really do not know how, but I somehow managed to make a comeback during the game and ended up getting a "Legendary" kill streak. We lost. Hard. What the hell is with the match making system? On a positive note, despite the major pressure put on me and all of the strong counter-jungling they performed, I made a great turn-around. I ended up with 12/7/15.
The third game was stressful, but it turned out well. All of the lanes were losing, except mid. Their Singed kicked our Aatrox's ass, our Akali was dominating mid, and bottom was losing hardcore. I was trying my best to help gank, counter jungle, take objectives, and the like, but I felt like it was nowhere near enough. I just couldn't help win lanes... We ended up winning it, though. We forced a surrender.
I don't know what I should do when this kind of pomegranate happens - when no one on our team can seem to hold their lanes. I can't be everywhere at once. I focused on soloing Dragon every time it came up, ganking mid so we could capture turrets faster, and counter-jungling the enemy Vi, so she would be less impactful. It helped, I guess. If we could force a surrender, despite the rough early game, I wonder if I'm onto something.
