venusaur doesn't change for pomegranate
it gets the pink thing on its head and the tree grows but it doesn't look like a giant pineappleing cannon

hmm not sure between starters now. I was going to settle for Froakie + Charmander but Fennekin + Squirtle is a choice too...

EDIT: jesus christ the torchic download too, you could get Chespin + Torchic + Squirtle for type coverage

Mega Venusaur looks ridiculous, and JUMPS when it uses an attack (you can see it in the trailer) which is stupid, since the official info on the site says that it's legs grow bigger to sustain the massive weight of the plants on it's back. on the other hand it's ability is very useful.

Mega Blastoise looks pretty good but it's ability is quite boring. as noticed in the trailer, Blastoise now has 3 cannons, including the MASSIVE ONE on it's back, but it still attacks by shooting beams out of it's mouth. right.

Once again the Fire starter is the best of the bunch. they definitely have a hard-on for fire type starters.
