It screws you over when you happen to be fighting a boss and you're down to the last 1% when the emergency server maintenance boots you out of the game. And as I recall, I never heard of NEXON ever reimbursing in these kind of situations, even if you did manage to kill the boss in time, only to get D/Ced before being able to loot.

The funny thing is, that actually happened to me once. I got 2x when I was powerleveling to 100, and bam! Emergency SC pops up.
